Software Engineer
January 2018 - Present San Francisco, CA
From January to March 2018, I was 50% Support/50% Engineering. In April 2018, I transitioned to a full-time software engineer. I build features that customers have been asking for using Javascript and Python, such as displaying the time to conversion window on the funnel viewer, displaying project tallies in the account modal, and displaing default message filters.

Technical Support Engineer
October 2016 - April 2018 San Francisco, CA
I work with technical customers on their implementation modification questions. I also lead multiple technical trainings, teaching our new Support Engineers how to use the Terminal, our API Endpoints, and navigating client/server-side integrations. I created an Onboarding app, which easily onboards new Support Engineers, Table for 2, a coworker matching app that lets folks from different departments to connect, and a Slackbot that connects to our Zendesk instance.

Software Engineering Intern
Student Information Systems Project, University of California Berkeley
June 2016 - October 2016 Berkeley, CA
I am creating the final exam schedule feature for CalCentral, a feature that our 20,000+ students have always wanted but was never prioritized. I pitched the idea to my manager and was able to work on it for our users. I also prioritize, triage, and fix bugs that come up through our thousands of users. I also began Cardboard, an internal tool that tracks site release changes visually.

When an experienced teaching assistant and I realized that students were still struggling in introductory computer science courses despite the staff resources that were provided, we created CSM. CSM provides teaching opportunities to those who are interested as well as allows students to work and learn with other students in a smaller environment so that it doesn't feel like a 1200+ person class. In one given semester, lead our executive team, manage 80+ tutors, and ensure our 300+ students are progressing successfully.

MAGIC Mentorship for Interns Program Manager
June 2015 - August 2015 San Francisco, CA
I work to expand Autodesk's mentorship program, matching high-level managers to interns, and making sure pairs get the best experience possible. On the side, I automate and improve the program's communication processes via Sharepoint workflows; work with HR to create a mentorship landing page written in C#, HTML, and CSS; and assist University Recruiting with event planning. I also volunteered and participated in a hackathon to create better software for MAGIC matching in the future.

User Experience Student Outreach and Research Assistant
Student Information Systems Project, University of California Berkeley
February 2015 - May 2015 Berkeley, CA
I assist the User Experience and Portal Team in redefining the way students interact with UC Berkeley's student information systems, such as class enrollment (Telebears), profiling (BearFacts), admissions, financial aid, and advising. I am drawing key insights about how students journey throughout their years at UC Berkeley, working closely to collect and analyze data about how Berkeley can best serve their needs, recently through Payments and Financial Aid. My next project is working with class scheduling.

ursaMajor is a web application that combines the flexibility of four year planning with the convenience of graduation requirements; all on one screen. It was an idea I piloted when I realized that there wasn't a tool that allowed someone to check whether they were on track to graduate. I led progress and operations on the application. While it isn't completed yet, it is a project that very much brought out my interest in product and engineering.
